TAYLOR SHOFNER

Taylor Shofner is an editor, filmmaker, VFX artist, and digital artist. Most recently he worked with LEGO television and film over a period of three years, crafting animated tv episodes, trailers, internal sizzles, and youtube/social media content.

Taylor is currently a freelance editor for animation, documentary television, broadcast commercials, comedy sketches, and music videos. His work has amassed millions of views for LEGO, CollegeHumor, Amazon, Dish, LiveNation, and more. His most recent film, Mister Mailman, was featured on iO9. He’s currently prepping to direct another short film and a feature-length documentary.

 

Before he left his hometown of Lubbock, TX, he wrote and directed three commercials in college that scored him a Lone Star Emmy award and two Golden Addy awards. His short films have played at festivals across the country, but his favorite festival memory was producing, directing, and acting in a staged production of his first feature-length script for his hometown film festival.

Taylor resides in Los Angeles with his dog, a rescue corgi mix named Gizmo.
